Nancy Pearl mentioned Girl Genius in a radio show! Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a transcript to link to.
It was only a passing mention near the end of the show, along with a couple of other graphic novels someone recommended to her but that she hadn't read yet, but Ms Pearl is pretty high profile. If she speaks well of it that will probably bring in a lot of new readers.
